SciTechWaves Interview with Dr. Harvey Wichman

In this three part conversation, Harvey Wichman, Ph.D. discusses the psychological challenges of space travel and his part in the International team testing future responses to an asteroid when one intersects the Earth’s orbital path.  Dr. Harvey Wichman received his doctorate in experimental psychology combining social psychology and neuroscience after attending NASA’s Biospace Technology program.  Even though Dr. Wichman recently retired as Director of the Aerospace Psychology Laboratory at the Claremont McKenna College, he continues to lecture world-wide (Harvey@wichman.org).  He is a major leader in REEO which provides Resources for Education and Employment Opportunities to undergraduate students www.pasadena.edu.
